Thailand’s economic had been recovered after the last three years of Baht to USD exchange rate be depreciated. Government had stimulated the country’s economic by initiating various infrastructure project. From this development, cement and energy industrial had been much developed; our management team had seen this opportunity to establish the second company, SCP Technology Co., Ltd, to do business in heavy and mining equipment.

Technologies have rapidly been developing throughout the world. Moreover, “Globalization” became buzzwords for all nationwide. People on one side of the world can connect to the other side of the world via telecommunication network. Apparently, this revolution made the world smaller. SCP’s founders saw the opportunities to expand the business and to establish sustainable development for their company. Thus, they established the new firm called SCP Systems Co., Ltd. in order to do Telecommunication and Information Technology business. Our major roles are to provide solution, design, installation and testing of telecommunication and data communication system. Currently, SCP Systems diversifies its services into Network Solution and Computer Technology. The change makes SCP Systems to become the number one system integrator in IT Technology field.

The transport of goods between countries by vessel had changed from Conventional system to Container system for the past 10 years. This international standard be influenced to all countries throughout the world including Thailand. Consequently, container handling equipment with international standard was initially used in many ports and container yards around Bangkok and Laem Chabang. Hence, SCP considered this opportunity to expand the business so, SCP Mechanical Co., Ltd. was established to be the distributor of Kalmar, the world leader in container handling equipment including Quay Crane, RTG, Reach Stacker, Empty Handler and Yard Tractor.

After the South-East Asia’s economic crisis in 1997, SCP Group and its affiliates were ,however, still unyielding. Moreover, we had foreseen that Thailand’s economic would be recovered from crisis by the next two years. With this recovery, Thailand needed construction and manufacturing of various products, semi-product, part and etc. to stimulate its economics. Undoubtedly, SCP’s management team had made the sharp and significant decision to diversify into the new segment of business, steel fabricator and building contractor named Boonyanuch Engineering Co., Ltd. Furthermore, Hydrodyne Service Co., Ltd had been established to manufacture high pressure pump and to provide cleaning service to heavy industry, petrochemical industry and other industries in Rayong and Mabtaphud area.
